Join ACHS graduate and former firefighter Tim Grutzius as he gives a moving testimonial on his experience with PTSD and holistic health. You’ll learn the difference between chronic and acute stress reactions, how to define PTSD, and more.
Learning Outcomes
- Distinguish the difference between an acute versus chronic stress reaction (such as PTSD)
- Define and list the causes of PTSD
- Distinguish between the three types of PTSD symptoms as outlined by the National Institute of Mental Health
- Learn about holistic protocols that may prove useful in supporting the body systems of a person suffering from PTSD
The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs has named June PTSD Awareness Month. To help raise awareness of this isolating disorder, ACHS is hosting a free webinar presented by ACHS alumnus Tim Grutzius.
