Gain a legal overview of the major issues facing herbalists today, such as the scope of practice, licensing, registration, misrepresentation, DSHEA and GMPs.

In this webinar, you will:

  • Explain the scope of practice
  • Recall licensing issues
  • Describe and define misrepresentation
  • Describe DSHEA and GMPs

Erika Yigzaw, B.Com, LL.B. (Hons), MG, She holds a Bachelors Degree (B.Com) in Commerce (Economics major) from the University of Otago; an LL.B. (first professional law degree) from the University of Otago Law School; New Zealand, and completed the Master Gardener program through Oregon State University in 2008. She is also a 2014 Certified Primal Blueprint Expert.

This course consists of:

  • Approximately one or more hours of lecture video.

  • A quiz to certify your knowledge of the material.

  • Upon successful completion, a downloadable certificate of completion.

  • Continuing Education Credit (CEU*), for which ACHS will maintain a record.




    • Pay the CEU processing fee ($25)

    • Watch the lecture video (approximately 60 minutes).

    • Pass the short CEU assessment quiz with a score of 80% or higher on your first attempt to demonstrate successful acquisition of knowledge.

    • After you register, you will have access to a student dashboard where you can download your CEU certificates and transcripts for successfully completed courses.
