Have you been curious about Chinese herbal medicine? Join ACHS Faculty Scott Stuart, L.Ac in this fascinating exploration of Chinese herbs and learn just how multifaceted and complex this modality is.

Upon completion of this two-hour class, you’ll be able to:

  • Describe the Concept of Qi
  • Explain Yin & Yang
  • Differentiate between the Five Elements
  • Describe the Properties of the Eight Syndrome Diagnosis
  • Summarize the fundamentals of the Chinese herbalist

Scott Stuart’s love of herbal medicine, Chinese martial arts, and Taoist philosophy called him to change careers from journalism and photography to Traditional Chinese Medicine. Scott has completed a four-year Master's program in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon. He has skills in acupuncture, herbal medicine, Zen Shiatsu massage, flower essences, and Qigong. Scott is Vice President of The Clackamas Center for Traditional Medicine (CCTM). Scott also teaches herbal medicine and holistic health at ACHS.

    • Pass the short CEU assessment quiz with a score of 80% or higher on your first attempt to demonstrate successful acquisition of knowledge.
