Join Melissa McNulty, PhD, ARNP, CNS in an exclusive webcast exploring the importance of proper nutrition in achieving optimal health.

By the end of the lecture you will be able to:

  • Explain the role that both genetics and environment play in optimal health and successful sport performance
  • List components of health-related fitness
  • Identify benefits of an exercise program designed to enhance aerobic and musculoskeletal fitness
  • Define and compare sports- and health-related fitness
  • Discuss principles of exercise training
  • Discuss the guidelines underlying the Prudent Healthy Diet
This course consists of:

  • Approximately one or more hours of lecture video.

  • A quiz to certify your knowledge of the material.

  • Upon successful completion, a downloadable certificate of completion.

  • Continuing Education Credit (CEU*), for which ACHS will maintain a record.

Melissa McNulty is a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) who has been teaching college-level nutrition classes for over 14 years. She has a Ph.D. in health science international education and research and master’s degrees in nursing and psychology. Melissa is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner who sees the impact that nutritional and lifestyle choices have on long-term health.

This course consists of,

  • Approximately one or more hours of lecture video.

  • A quiz to certify your knowledge of the material.

  • Upon successful completion, a downloadable certificate of completion.

  • Continuing Education Credit (CEU*), for which ACHS will maintain records




  • Pay the CEU processing fee ($25)
  • Watch the lecture video (approximately 60 minutes).
  • Pass the short CEU assessment quiz with a score of 80% or higher on your first attempt to demonstrate successful acquisition of knowledge.
  • Receive your CEU certificate of completion via email.
